It comes from the courage clients, family/support members and therapists alike must have to overcome DID/DDNOS. It is a daunting task and it is often made harder by the isolation many of our dissociative peers face every day.
While the word Valor means courage, it also means something else. Courage along this journey to self is often reflected in these things:
That's what Valor means. It is our hope these things will resonate for every client (peer) with the compassion and care we find in community support for one another and connection to those who have blessed our journeys.
