Search for a Therapist

Any fact facing us is not as important as our attitude toward it, for that determines success or failure.
~Norman Vincent Peale

"Healing takes courage, and we all have courage, even if we have to
dig a little to find it."

Our therapist members represent many levels of experience in treating trauma disorders, and DID/DDNOS specifically. The therapists featured in your search results also treat other disorders in their practices. Legally, we cannot recommend specific therapists and we do not endorse the services of any specific therapist. Our therapist members are those who have joined our organization as a member in order to serve their clients’ needs for resources in community as they may arise or be defined. The list of therapists who are members of our organization are provided as a matter of convenience for you and may or may not represent what you specifically need or seek in your treatment journey. Only you can determine your specific needs and only you are responsible for the outcome of your therapy selections.

You may print a list of our therapist members by chapter location. We also encourage you to consider sources outside of The Valor Institute, Inc. as there are many resources for treatment in the Atlanta area who are not members of our organization. The therapy resources you select to assist you in your healing journey should be the result of a good search and interview process on your part. For additional resources, you may also find www.isst-d.org (International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation) helpful in listing others therapists available to you via their web search facilities.

Our organization opened for services in May, 2008. We are continually adding and updating the list of our therapist members.
