Yesterday. We believe yesterday is a resource, an invaluable teacher. We shall choose wisely those experiences we will empower in pursuit of today.
Future. We believe the future is always but a minute away. Its opportunities are often only split seconds apart.
Courage. We salute courage for it is about neither success nor failure. Its only mastery is found in the desire to try.
Compassion. We are stewards of compassion for it requires a delicate, soulful balance between care of others and care of self.
Integrity. Our greatest daily work is not evidenced by our earnings or our output. It is a successful day if we have honored truth and integrity in our actions, words and deeds.
Trust. We believe trust of self empowers self. Trust of others greatly magnifies trust of self.
Creativity. We believe our best work is the one in which we invest our passion, our knowledge and our joy both creatively and spontaneously.
Wisdom. We pursue wisdom for it is the voice of heart, mind and soul working in concert. It is meant to be shared and therein does find its inherent value.
Faith. We believe every person is a unique expression of love from God to this world. It is in holding precious this capacity to love and be loved unconditionally that we make our greatest contribution to the world and thereby carve a future far greater than our collective past.
Strategic Healing: A Collaborative Development Between Clients (Peers) & Therapists
We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to serving clients (peers) who are healing from dissociative disorders of a traumatic origin. Our ValorNet communities specifically serve those clients (peers) and their therapists who are working together to overcome Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) and Dissociative Disorder Not Otherwise Specified (DDNOS).
We believe that strategic healing is made possible by a collaborative design with peers and therapists working side by side to define meaningful concepts in community. In fact, The Valor Institute, Inc. is designed by clients (peers)
and therapists alike to create resources supporting our capacity to heal physically, emotionally, spiritually and intellectually…a strategic, holistic concept in recovery.
